How to play
Movement
Arrow keys or WASD on desktop; an on-screen stick appears automatically on mobile.
Jumping
Spacebar or the jump button. Ledges stay forgiving for a split second after you step off.
Camera
Q and E โ or the rotate buttons โ swing the camera around the pyramid so you can see every face.
Goal
Climb to each summit and take the key. All three keys open the treasure chamber in Khufu.
The real Giza
- The Great Pyramid held the record as the tallest structure on Earth for around 3,800 years.
- Khafre looks taller than Khufu from most angles only because it stands on higher bedrock.
- The pyramids you see today are the stepped core โ the smooth outer casing was stripped away centuries ago.
About the game
โKey of the Three Pyramidsโ is a 3D platformer that runs straight in your browser with nothing to install, built with Three.js and the Rapier physics engine. Each of Giza's three pyramids is a stage with its own difficulty: Menkaure to learn the ropes, Khafre with its guards and crumbling ledges, and the Great Pyramid of Khufu โ an outside climb through wind and falling stone, with the treasure chamber at its base.
