Using the site

pyramidsquest.com is free to use for personal enjoyment. You do not need an account and nothing is charged. By using it you accept these terms; if you do not, please do not use the site.

What you may not do

• Interfere with the site, or try to gain access to parts of it that are not public.
• Re-host, rebrand or redistribute the game as your own, or embed it on another site without permission.
• Click ads artificially, or encourage others to. This breaches Google’s advertising policies and can cost this site its account.

Ownership

The code, level design, artwork and audio are original work and remain the property of the site owner. Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under their own licences, and the software the game is built with is open source under its own terms — all of it is credited on the credits page.

The pyramids of Giza are real monuments and are nobody’s property. This game is an independent tribute with no official connection to Egypt’s antiquities authorities.

Availability

The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of faults. It needs WebGL, and some devices or browser settings will not run it. Game progress is stored in your own browser, so clearing your browser data erases it — there is no copy on a server and it cannot be recovered.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the site owner is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Pages here link to third parties, and ads are served by Google. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. What advertising means for your data is set out in the privacy policy.
